am i the only 1 in this situation regarding not having many material possessions ?

im 30, never been employed because ive suffered a hard life, waiting for therapy for borderline personality and post traumatic stress.

i live in a one bedroom flat on sickness benifit….i have no savings.

i have a rubbish bed and weak wooden frame..

a second hand computer chair with a ripped arm.

a crappy couch and sofa that is uncomfortable, when i sit down on it, i can feel the hardness of the wooden frame.

an old computer, not many computer accessories..

i dont have a shower, just a bath

have just a small tv……no cable or sky..

a little radio not a dab.

a few books.

no carpets on my floor..

i own nothing more…..no digital camera…..no new mobile phone….no ipod….no i phone….no mp3 player….no xbox.

has anyone ever been in my situation, how did you cope ?
